2021 Magnolia Christmas Parade Theme Named "Songs of the Season"
The theme "Songs of the Season" was chosen for the 2021 Magnolia Christmas Parade. The parade will take place on Thursday, December 2 at 5:00 p.m.
I was thrilled to hear the theme for the Christmas parade this year. I have been a part of the parade many times and I have always enjoyed looking at the floats. There has always been creativity throughout the entire parade and I believe "Songs of the Season" will give businesses and organizations an array of options to choose from when it comes to decorations.
After last Christmas, many of us are looking to have a somewhat normal Christmas season. Christmas 2020 did not feel "normal" due to the confusing state our world was in. I think it will do everyone some good to see the parade this Christmas and experience it with their loved ones.
Although I will not be walking in the parade this year, I am looking forward to seeing the floats and looking at the beautiful Christmas lights all around Magnolia. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, and the parade has always been a part of that.
The parade will begin along Calhoun Street from the intersection of South Washington. It will then proceed around the square and turn left on North Jackson street. The Parade will end on the Southern Arkansas University campus.
